C.S. Lewis - Sensible and Human Things Letterpress Print

A limited edition letterpress print of a quote from C.S. Lewis's essay "On Living in an Atomic Age." It is printed with purple linseed oil ink on soft white Flurry Cotton letterpress paper.
This print was made on a 1911 Chandler & Price printing press. Because each print is handmade, one at a time, there will always be some slight variation in a print run. The type is handset, one letter a time, in Century Old Style in several sizes. The ornaments are new wood type designed and made by Mark McKellier of McKellier Wood Type.
This print measures 11 x 14" and will fit easily in a standard sized frame.
The print will ship rolled in a tube and should be unrolled and placed under books or similarly heavy objects as soon as possible and left overnight before framing.
I make all prints in my shop personally by hand, including typesetting, carving illustrations, and printing on the press.
